Neben Hill House ruft DC nun noch ein weiteres Imprint ins Leben, welches sich dem Thema Horror widmen wird. Es trägt den originellen Namen "DC Horror" und startet im Juni:

Consumer Products, will deliver a new level of suspense and terror guaranteed to have fans reading with the lights on, even in daytime (...) From early titles like House of Mystery and House of Secrets to current series featuring Swamp Thing and John Constantine: Hellblazer, DC has always been the home of great horror comics and characters (...) DC HORROR continues this tradition with new frightening tales from both well-known and new storytellers that will keep fans spooked and entertained.” (dccomic.com)
Als erste Serie wurde "The Conjuring: The Lover" angekündigt, welche ein Prequel zum demnächst erscheinenden Conjuring-Film darstellt. Geschrieben wird das Ganze von David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick und Rex Ogle. Die Zeichnungen wird Garry Brown übernehmen. Weitere Serienankündigungen sollen demnächst folgen und dann im Oktober an den Start gehen.
Ich erwarte definitiv kein neues Vertigo, bin aber trotzdem mal gespannt. Auch wenn mich "The Conjuring: The Lover" nicht im Geringsten interessiert.
