Nach dem ersten Drittel finde ich, dass diese großartige Southern Gothic-Geschichte das Potential zum Meisterwerk hat. Endgültig sagen kann ich das natürlich erst, wenn ich durch bin. Aber bisher bin ich gefesselt und völlig überzeugt davon. Und das, obwohl Gregory und ich bisher nicht immer zusammengepasst haben. Ich habe bereits zwei Bücher von ihm abgebrochen. Nur die Familie Telemachus fand ich einigermaßen gut. Aber das hier ist bislang wunderbar.
